MOVE THE GAMES
U.S. officials have chosen to operate outside the bounds of law and basic morality — from supporting Israel’s genocide in Gaza and illegal settlement expansion in the West Bank, to launching a direct military strike on Venezuela and kidnapping President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, to escalating repression against migrants and racialized communities inside the U.S. itself that has even led to murder. These are not isolated policies, but interconnected expressions of an empire that uses violence in the U.S. and abroad to enforce its dominance.
The Anti Fascist Football Coalition, comprised of key organizations in the countries hosting the World Cup 2026 (Canada, Mexico, US), are collaborating to implement shared objectives, strategies, and tactics in two phases to Boycott the World Cup and Boycott the U.S.
Phase 1
Demand that FIFA move the games from the US.
Outline mass resistance from all of our bases.
Phase 2
Expand, support, and guide mass resistance to the World Cup and the broader U.S. war on working class and colonized people.
Coordinate on-the-ground resistance strategies and tactics.

Demand that FIFA and the IOC ban the U.S. and Israel from hosting or participating in international sporting events.

The conditions surrounding the World Cup are a microcosm of the broader war on global humanity being executed by the U.S. settler state.
With the U.S. as a host country for the Games, FIFA is a conscious enabler of the U.S. fascist agenda. Driven by its own profit-seeking and corporate interests, FIFA is whitewashing U.S. criminality by legitimizing and normalizing the U.S. as a rogue state.
Shutting down FIFA alone would not stop the state’s oppression. Imperialist violence would continue to manifest elsewhere in our region.
As such, our task is clear. Rooted in People(s)-Centered Human Rights, we must work collectively to both dismantle U.S. systems of oppression and build structures grounded in collective people power, self-determination, and the highest forms of human dignity.
